Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Light, rhythmic touch to support lymphatic flow and invite a sense of ease.

Therapeutic Approach & Benefits

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a specialized, gentle therapy that uses light, rhythmic skin movements to encourage the movement of lymph fluid. The pressure is subtle, and the pace is slow and deliberate. I have completed additional training and earned certification in manual lymphatic drainage through Klose Training. This specialized education informs the precision, care, and individualized approach I bring to each session. You may be seeking support for swelling, a feeling of heaviness, or recovery following a procedure. We begin by reviewing your health history and goals to determine whether MLD is appropriate for you. For postsurgical care or medically related swelling, coordination with your healthcare team may be needed. Lymphatic work remains the focus of this session. When appropriate and with your consent, I may incorporate complementary techniques to address surrounding tension and help you settle comfortably into the treatment. Expect a gentle, attentive experience with time to rest and receive.
